From the outset it became clear to me that this program was like no other I have experienced because of the medium used to deliver the program message or theme which is (think for yourself and make your own choices). Hooked on life makes use of the laser image technology and it is a powerful and entertaining way to engage young adolescent students in learning.

Our year 7 students thoroughly enjoyed their presentation and their evaluation sheets showed they had ‘got’ the message. They especially liked the laser effect and the music.

The Year 8 Students also liked the presentation because of the original effect of laser and music. Their evaluation showed that they saw the message as ‘going over’ things they already knew and they thought that teenage life and realities of saying no was increasingly more complex. However the overall view was that it was a good show because it was so different.
